Only 4 more days!

Ahhh, only 4 more days until vacation!! I am a little nervous about travelling, since I just found out one of my co-worker's daughter is being treated for H1N1, and his wife is now also showing symptoms--this is not news I want to hear days before getting on a plane and a cruise ship! I am so ready to take my final tonight, though...and, hopefully, I will get done early enough to go get my hair trimmed & highlighted afterward. I would give anything for a pedi before the cruise, also, but I don't think it is in the cards...*sigh*

Callie apparently thought I was not paying enough attention to her the other day, so she clapped at me to get my attention. I should mention that I do that to her when she is being stubborn and ignoring me when I call her name. She has really started jabbering lately, so I am just waiting for the words to start flowing! Oh, and I owe a big "thank you" to the daycare kids for teaching her the Barney "I love you" song....ugh. This morning they were singing it, and I was covering her ears, singing "la-la-la" myself to try to drown it out...why do I suspect it is a lost cause?!
